  3. TS-940S AMTOR SWITCHING TIME
  4. Most stock TS-940S require 30 to 50 MS to switch back to
  5. receive.  This can be reduced to less than 20 MS by cutting
  6. the center lead of the digital transistor Q68 on the Control
  7. Unit.  After the mod, a slight "cick" will be heard in the
  8. speaker.  However, this is offset for the amtor fan by the
  9. improved switching time.
  10. Q68 is located on the Back of the Control Unit below IC13.
